China Kunming Trip Day 6

well , we visited the YuLong Snow Mountain today. we went up the the mountain by cable car. Yulong Snow Mountain is the highest mountain in Kunming which has more than 300 varieties of azalea. its height is around 5.600 metres ( 18.360 feet ) . the view from the mountain was spectecular, amazing! After visiting the Yulong Snow Mountain, we headed down to the Yu Shui Zhai ( jade water village ). those villagers here were called Tong Ba, they have their own dialect , language , religion and their own dancing style. After that, we went to watch the "Impression Lijiang" directed by Zhang Yimou, and performed by around 400 local peoples of the 10 etnic groups. at night , we had our dinner at the Lijiang Oldtown and had some shopping there.

day 5 , the weather is getting colder and colder
around 0 degrees everyday morning
well , as usual , after taken our breakfast , headed to the " Tian Long Ba Bu "
the " Tian Long Ba Bu " is a place for ancient movie shooting
after that , we took a visit to the " Dali Xizhou " ancient house and enjoy a " Bai Tribe's " tea performance . lastly , we drive to Lijiang , the home of the " Naxi " tribe .
after taken out dinner , we had a night tour to the " Shuhe Oldtown "

China Kunming Trip Day 4 - Dinosaur Valley

Day 4 , cold and scorching day

after we took our breakfast at the hotel , we headed to Chuxiong and visit the Dinosaur Valley

Since 1938 ,dinosaurs fossils have been found in Lufeng.

Hundreds of complete dinosaur fossils have been unearthed and displayed . which considered as one of the most origin and old age vertebrates fossils in an internal shape around the world

After that visit , we went to the Dali Ancient Town , it was first established in the early period of the Ming dynasty, a defensive river was surrounding by the city and the Dali Western Street is kinda famous around the world .

Well, this is my third day in Kunming , China

morning call at 6.30am , get my breakfast at 7am

after breakfast , we proceed to the Stone Forest

the Stone Forest known as " The First Wonder of The World "

Its a massive collection of gray limestone pillars , split by rainwater and eroded to their present form

After that , headed back to Kunming , stopped at " Qi Chai Yunnan "

for some photos taking and had our lunch right there

later on , get to the tea factory

bought a lot of Pu Er tea right there

its kinda expensive , my dad bought around 1 K MYR

China Trip Day 2 - Kunming - Jiuxiang

this is my second day in Kunming , China

the weather was nice , cold but yet the sun was kinda scorching

well , leave out hotel at 7am , proceeding to the Yuantong Temple

The YuanTong Temple is the grandest as well as the most important Buddhist Temple in the Yunnan Province.

The scenery there was awesome and beautiful

after that , we went to the Cui Hu ( Green Lake )

The place was full of seagulls , you can get some free breads from the local peoples to feed them

Lastly , we went to Jiu Xiang Scenic Area

That place offers plenty of karst caves , scenic landscapes , man-made sights and ethic cultures

then , we proceed to the Jiu Xiang Caves with have a cluster of some 100 caves of various sizes and shapes such as the Twin Waterfalls , Divine Fields and the Lion Hall .

Jiu Xiang was really a nice place to visit , a memorable experience

Yes , im back from Kunming , China .

its fun , i enjoyed it very much

well , its cold there . average 0 - 10 degrees everyday

freezing everyday , but damn nice

hmm , the weather was dry and scorching

aight , took off from penang at 8am , reach Bangkok around 10am

then , waiting the transit plane to Kunming around 1pm

its about an hour and 45minutes flight , so reaching kunming around 3pm

met our tour guide , Jacky aka xiao zhang

he's a nice person , he introduced himself to us and the journey had started

first , we visited the Western Hill and Dragon Gate .

The Western hill was noted for its series of temples situated along path leading to the summit

later on , went to watch the Dynamic Yunnan Dancing Perfomance

the dance was superb , nice . its all about the traditional dance by the local people

after that , went back to hotel to rest , thats all for the first day .

hmm , i didnt update for blog for quite a long time

because i got nothin to update , less hang out , stayin at home everyday
aight , back to the topic , went to school and gurney on Friday
thats my first day to school since PMR was over
well , nothing changed . still the same , met up with Ben , Yi Feng , HowKean , YikFong etc .
later on , Ben's mom fetched us back to bayswater , saw Ken there
So , decided to go Gurney with Jing , Ken , Kek and Chyuan
It was Chyuan's birthday , but seems that he's not having any celebration there
well , what a bored birthday he had
hangin around the shops in gurney and its 6pm
Jing's mom came and fetch us back to Bayswater
played basketball , and dad called me . and its time to go back
